Subordinate A works as a low-level enforcer within the criminal organization controlling Denji. Dressed in formal Yakuza attire, he assists in driving the group to the isolated industrial district for the scheduled meeting. He maintains a confident demeanor, trusting the authority of the syndicate's leader without question.

His loyalty proves fatal when the boss reveals the deal with the Zombie Devil. The elder sacrifices his subordinates to the devil in exchange for power, subjecting this man to an immediate and painful transformation. His skin rots and his mind vanishes, leaving him as a mindless soldier in the undead army.

He attacks the protagonist as part of the horde, utilizing only basic physical strikes and grappling. The transformation negates his ability to use weapons or strategy. He is dismembered during the ensuing chaotic battle, serving as fodder for the newly awakened hybrid.
