Helene Barbary is a member of the Crimson Lion squad and a participant in the Royal Knights Selection Exam. She is a noblewoman who uses Cactus Magic, allowing her to summon prickly plants for both offense and defense. She fights on a team alongside Klaus Lunettes and Luck Voltia (though Luck ignores the plan and runs off).

During their tournament match, Helene stays behind to defend the crystal with Klaus. She uses her cactus magic to fortify their position, creating a wall of thorns to deter attackers. However, they are challenged by Rill Boismortier, the Captain of the Aqua Deer, who is participating in the exam under a disguise.

Despite her best efforts to hold the line, Helene is completely outmatched by Rill’s Painting Magic. He effortlessly breaks through her defenses and destroys their crystal, eliminating her team from the tournament. She is later seen cheering for her squad captain, Fuegoleon, showing her continued loyalty to the Crimson Lions.
