A teacher at Karakura High School. She wears glasses and isn’t bothered by Ichigo Kurosaki’s absence in school, saying she knows he’ll eventually return to school. She seems to think very poorly of her other students when they are absent, even going so far as to call them punks.

Misato Ochi is a very kind and enigmatic teacher, especially towards Ichigo Kurosaki and his friends. After a three month absence on Ichigo’s part, she punished him with a simple tap on the head with her book, and told him to take a seat. She never shows any anger or suspicion as to why they take long leaves of absence, but feels they have good reasons. She is currently asleep with the rest of Karakura town in the Soul Society.
