He enters the Corrida Colosseum tournament in Dressrosa, aiming not only to win the competition but also to hunt down the high-value fugitives participating in the event.

He utilizes a combat style based on scavenging and throwing weaponry. He collects swords, guns, and spears from defeated enemies and hurls them with high speed and precision to impale targets from a distance. This method allows him to maintain a constant supply of ammunition while keeping opponents at bay during chaotic free-for-all brawls.

During the Block C battle, he targets the gladiator "Lucy," having deduced his true identity as the pirate who orchestrated the mass breakout at Impel Down. He boasts about his plan to capture all the escapees for their bounties while pelting the arena with stolen arms. His aggression backfires when he inadvertently provokes Don Chinjao, who knocks him out of the ring with a single headbutt.
