Kirintauros belongs to the Centaur Patrol Unit stationed on the burning half of the secluded research island. He was once a human prisoner who lost his ability to walk during a massive chemical explosion, only to receive replacement limbs through the surgical modifications of the scientist Caesar Clown. His specific alteration gave him the lower body and elongated neck of a giraffe, resulting in a bizarre, towering physique where his human torso sits atop the animal's back.

He monitors the magma-covered wasteland to intercept unauthorized visitors approaching the laboratory. When a group of pirates lands on the shore, he charges them alongside his squad, wielding a spear and utilizing the speed of his four legs to close the distance. Despite his confidence in his modified body, the intruders quickly overwhelm him, finding his strange anatomy more amusing than threatening during the brief skirmish.

He holds absolute loyalty to the scientist, believing the man is a benevolent savior who restored his life. He follows the orders of the alligator-centaur captain, Brownbeard, hunting down the samurai and pirates to protect the facility. This blind faith is eventually shattered when the master he worships releases a deadly gas weapon that targets enemies and subordinates without distinction, leaving the centaurs to die in the poisonous cloud.
