Masumi Yodogawa is a high-ranking officer within the Momotaro organization who secretly rejects the group's genocidal ideology. He stands out due to his flashy suit, sunglasses, and large pompadour, presenting a relaxed, delinquent-like attitude that contrasts with the strict military discipline of his peers. He openly expresses his distaste for the war, often preferring to eat ramen and slack off rather than hunt down the enemy.

He controls a unique bacteria that creates durable bubbles, allowing him to manipulate the battlefield without relying on brute strength. These bubbles serve multiple purposes, from trapping enemies in impenetrable spheres to shielding himself from heavy gunfire. He uses this ability to neutralize threats non-lethally, encasing opponents and floating them away rather than executing them, although he possesses the power to kill if pushed.

He walks a dangerous line between his official duties and his desire for peace, effectively acting as a double agent. He actively assists the Oni protagonist, believing that a specific hybrid existence could end the centuries of bloodshed.
