Nash is one of the orphans raised at the church in Hage Village alongside Asta and Yuno. He is slightly older than the other children (Aruru and Holo) and possesses a cynical personality. He frequently doubts Asta’s dream of becoming the Wizard King, often telling Asta to be realistic about his lack of magic.

Despite his tough attitude, Nash cares deeply for his family. When the village is attacked by a possessed Magic Knight during the Elf Reincarnation arc, Nash steps up to protect the younger children. He attempts to use his Fire Magic to fight back, but he is quickly overpowered. He is saved just in time by Asta, which forces him to finally acknowledge Asta’s strength.

After Asta leaves again, Nash takes on more responsibility at the church. He begins training his magic more seriously, inspired by his older brother. When Asta is put on trial and demonized by the kingdom, Nash remains one of his staunchest supporters in the village, refusing to believe the lies about him.
