Neige is a rogue mage who specializes in Snow Magic. He first appears during the Nean Town arc, working as a subordinate for the Eye of the Midnight Sun under the command of Baro. He is tasked with kidnapping children to drain their mana, a job he performs reluctantly, as his shy and gentle personality conflicts with the cruelty of his orders.

When Asta and Gauche Adlai confront the kidnappers, Neige fights back using his "Snow Magic: Snow Weaving" to restrain them. However, he is betrayed by his partner Baro, who forcibly turns him into a monster using forbidden mud magic. After Asta defeats Baro, he spares Neige, recognizing that the snow mage was being manipulated and didn't truly want to hurt anyone.

After his defeat, Neige is arrested but later redeemed. He is sentenced to community service to atone for his crimes. He is seen happily using his snow magic to help cool down the children of the village during a hot summer day, finally using his powers to bring joy instead of fear.
