The Snake Devil is a massive, scaled serpent summoned by the former civilian hunter Akane Sawatari. It requires the sacrifice of the contractor's fingernails to perform specific attacks. It appears from thin air to execute commands, possessing a mouth large enough to swallow other devils whole and a tail capable of crushing concrete structures.

Its primary ability involves swallowing a target and then regurgitating it later to fight on behalf of the contractor. During the assault on the hotel, it devours the Ghost Devil completely, absorbing its power. Later, it spits the Ghost Devil back out to fight Aki Hayakawa, effectively turning the enemy's own contracted devil against him.

It battles the Public Safety division again during the raid on the Katana Man's hideout. It engages the Violence Fiend and Kobeni Higashiyama, using its tail to wreak havoc in the corridors. When Sawatari is captured, the Snake Devil activates a failsafe suicide pact, biting her head off to prevent her from being interrogated by the authorities.
