One Punch Man Season 3 Part 2 Confirmed for 2027

One Punch Man Season 3 Part 2 Confirmed for 2027

The One Punch Man anime’s production committee has officially announced that One Punch Man Season 3 will be split into two parts, with Part 2 scheduled to air in 2027.

The announcement came right after the broadcast of Season 3’s final episode on December 28, 2025. The new visual featuring an intense face-off between Saitama and Garou was released, teasing the epic clash that awaits viewers in the continuation.

Season 3 Part 1, which concluded its 12-episode run today, has been adapting the highly anticipated Monster Association Arc. The season followed the S-Class heroes as they launched a massive raid on the Monster Association’s hideout to rescue a kidnapped hostage. Meanwhile, Garou—the self-proclaimed “Hero Hunter”—found himself caught between the heroes and monsters, setting up what promises to be one of the series’ most explosive confrontations.

The new announcement trailer gives fans a glimpse of what’s to come, hinting at the climactic battle between Saitama and the increasingly powerful Garou. The visual shows both characters in a dramatic standoff, with Garou’s monstrous transformation on full display against Saitama’s characteristically calm demeanor.

However, the announcement has received mixed reactions from the fanbase. While some are excited about the continuation, many fans have expressed disappointment with Part 1’s animation quality and are concerned about the 2027 release. Social media comments show fans pleading for improved production values, with some requesting the studio take more time to ensure better quality animation rather than rushing the sequel.

The criticism primarily stems from comparisons to the groundbreaking first season produced by Madhouse. Season 3, handled by J.C. Staff, has faced ongoing concerns about animation consistency and production values that have affected fan reception of crucial story moments.

Exhibition Announcement: The anime will also receive its first-ever exhibition from June 26 to July 20, 2026, at the Ikebukuro Sunshine 60 Observatory Tenbou-Park in Tokyo, featuring original goods, animation drawings, and exclusive photo opportunities.

Despite these concerns, excitement remains high for the climax of the Monster Association Arc. This storyline is considered one of the most action-packed in One Punch Man, featuring the long-awaited showdown between Saitama and Garou that manga readers have been anticipating for years.

The Monster Association Arc represents a pivotal moment in the series, with intense battles and significant character development. With Part 2 promising to deliver the arc’s climax in 2027, expectations remain high despite the concerns about production quality.

Whether J.C. Staff can address fan feedback and deliver a Part 2 that meets expectations remains to be seen. For now, fans have two years to look forward to the conclusion of one of anime’s most anticipated battles.
