Margarita is a young household maid who became an unfortunate victim of the Thriller Bark Pirates. She is characterized by her wavy hair and freckles. Her role in the story is significant primarily because her stolen shadow was utilized by Dr. Hogback to animate the General Zombie Victoria Cindry, creating a servant that carried Margarita's personality traits rather than the famous actress's memories.

During the Thriller Bark arc, Margarita was forced to live in the shadows of the Florian Triangle, as exposure to sunlight would have vaporized her. Her shadow's influence was clearly visible in Cindry's behavior; the zombie's signature hatred of plates and her habit of smashing them were direct reflections of Margarita's dissatisfaction with her job as a maid, a detail that added depth to the zombie's struggle against Hogback's control.

Following Luffy's defeat of Gecko Moria, all the stolen shadows were released to find their original owners. Margarita successfully regained her shadow just moments before the sun rose, saving her from disintegration. She was last seen celebrating her freedom alongside the Rolling Pirates and the Straw Hats, and presumably returned to her normal life afterward, as she has not appeared in the story since.
