Victoria Cindry was originally a famous stage actress who died in a tragic accident ten years prior to the Thriller Bark arc. Her corpse was stolen by Dr. Hogback, who was obsessed with her, and reanimated using the shadow of a plate-hating maid. As a zombie, she serves Hogback obediently, often throwing plates at him due to her shadow's quirky personality.
During the Straw Hats' invasion of the mansion, Cindry fights Chopper and Robin. She utilizes her zombie durability and hidden knives, displaying a robotic lack of emotion. However, when Chopper pleads with her to remember her humanity and dignity, Cindry’s original soul begins to resist the shadow's control, causing her body to freeze up.
In her final moments before the zombie purification, Cindry regains a semblance of her true self. She smiles genuinely for the first time, crying a single tear as she thanks Chopper for defending her honor. After Moria is defeated, her shadow leaves the body, allowing the real Victoria Cindry to finally rest in peace.
