Abi is a young resident of the canal city Water 7, recognized by her pigtails and the camera she carries around her neck. She appears in the aftermath of the massive Aqua Laguna storm, wandering the debris-filled streets alone. While the rest of the citizens focus on repairing the damaged shipyards and infrastructure, she dedicates herself to a personal search mission that the adults have deemed futile.

Her objective is to locate her missing pet, a centenarian Yagara Bull named Yagara that vanished during the evacuation. Despite being told that the creature likely perished in the high tides, she refuses to accept its death. She navigates the drying waterways and back alleys, using an old photograph to ask strangers for information regarding the animal's whereabouts.

She encounters the visiting pirate crew, specifically the reindeer doctor and the rubber captain, and convinces them to assist her. This investigation leads them to a narrow underpass where the bull had wedged itself for safety during the flood. The successful rescue reunites her with the animal, concluding her distress during the city's restoration period.
