Andre is a subordinate captain allied with the Whitebeard Pirates, leading his own crew from the New World to support the Emperor. He possesses a massive frame, dark skin, and long, unkempt hair that hangs loosely around his shoulders. He is the twin brother of Candre, a Marine officer, placing the siblings on opposite sides of the conflict between pirates and the World Government.

He participated in the assault on Marineford, arriving with the allied fleet to prevent the execution of the Second Division Commander. He wields a sword in combat and uses his overwhelming physical strength to crash through enemy lines on the frozen bay. During the chaos of the war, he fought alongside other New World captains to clear a path to the execution platform, engaging Navy soldiers in close-quarters combat.

He retreated following the death of Edward Newgate, obeying the final order to protect the remaining crew members and survive the battle. He later attended the funeral held for Whitebeard and Ace on a remote island in the New World. Standing among the other allied forces, he paid his respects to the fallen legends before returning to the sea.
