Ban Dedessinée is the Queen of the Frauce Kingdom, a nation located in the East Blue. Her character is a playful nod to real-world culture; her name is derived from "Bande Dessinée" (the French term for comics), which fits perfectly with her kingdom's name, a pun on France.

She makes her main appearance during the Levely arc, traveling to Mary Geoise to represent her country. As one of the fifty monarchs attending the summit to discuss world affairs, she is mostly seen in the background interacting with other royals, such as Queen Kinderella of the Black Drum Kingdom, rather than participating in combat or major political schemes.

Following the tumultuous conclusion of the Levely, she presumably returned to the East Blue. As of the current events in the final saga, she has not made another appearance, and the Frauce Kingdom has not been explicitly mentioned among the nations currently revolting against the World Government.
