Carol Masterson is a character exclusive to the *One Piece* anime, appearing during the Loguetown arc. She is the young daughter of Daddy Masterson, a former Marine sharpshooter turned bounty hunter known as "Daddy the Father." She is the center of her father's world; he abandoned his dangerous career in the Navy specifically to ensure he could raise her safely after her mother passed away.

She plays a surprising role in Usopp's development during the crew's stop in Loguetown. While shopping for a birthday gift for her father, she sets her sights on a specific pair of sniper goggles—the very same ones Usopp wants to buy. This dispute eventually leads to a duel between Usopp and Daddy Masterson. Through this interaction, Usopp learns about his own father, Yasopp, whom Daddy had challenged and respected in the past.

Because the Loguetown arc in the manga was shortened, Carol and her father were cut from the original comic release (though Eiichiro Oda did design Daddy Masterson). As a result, she does not exist in the main manga continuity. She has not appeared in the anime since the Straw Hats entered the Grand Line and has no relevance to the current events in the final saga.
