Frog-Man is an artificial mutant created by Dr. Genus at the House of Evolution, styled less like a typical monster and more like a yakuza enforcer: a humanoid frog with large eyes, a white stomach and throat, black spots across his back and arms, and a scar running down his face, dressed in black pants and sandals with a tanto tucked into his belt, a pendant necklace, and a kanji tattoo on his left shoulder.
He's sent alongside Slugerous and the rest of the House of Evolution's creations to help capture Saitama, but neither Frog-Man nor Slugerous gets a real chance to fight — both are killed by a stray slash from their own ally Beast King, aimed at Saitama and missing.
A muscular, stout humanoid frog with powerful limbs, large bulbous white eyes with small dark pupils, and a wide frog-like mouth. Pale-skinned on the torso and underbelly, with dark circular spots covering his head, shoulders, and outer limbs; wears no clothing, relying on his natural hide.
Disciplined and obedient, deferring to Beast King’s orders without hesitation, and a true believer in the House of Evolution’s mission to replace “imperfect” humanity. Like his teammates, overconfident enough not to register the threat Saitama posed until it was already too late.
An artificial lifeform engineered by Dr. Genus, considered one of his “finest” and “elite” creations — among the top 1% of the House of Evolution’s hundreds of experiments.
Stationed at the rear of Saitama’s apartment with partner Slugerous to cut off any escape. After Kamakyuri’s failed ceiling ambush gets him instantly killed, an irritated Saitama confronts the remaining intruders, dismissively calling Frog-Man “Frog” before punching Slugerous into the ground. Frog-Man is killed in the same burst of action; Dr. Genus later confirms his death via a status report marking him “DISPOSED.”
Enhanced strength, speed, and durability well beyond a normal human, likely powerful leg muscles for high jumps, and tactical training for flanking maneuvers — none of which was enough to survive even casual contact with Saitama.
vs. Saitama — Ch. 8
Tried to ambush him from behind his apartment. Died instantly — one more data point for Dr. Genus on just how absurd Saitama's strength really was.
Major: Ch. 8. Mentioned only: Ch. 9, 234.
Dr. Genus: his creator and master. Beast King: his commanding officer. Slugerous: his tactical partner, killed in the same incident. Saitama: his target and killer.
None — killed before he could speak any dialogue.
Saitama is the only character to address him directly, and does so just by calling him “Frog.” Frequently confused in-universe with the unrelated professional hero Chain Toad, a human who simply wears a toad mask.
