Hyoutauros is a Gifter of the Beasts Pirates stationed in Udon Prison. He has eaten a SMILE fruit that grants him the characteristics of a leopard, but the transformation is anatomically awkward, giving him the lower body and legs of a leopard while retaining his human upper body. He serves as a guard under the command of Babanuki.

He is first seen patrolling the prisoner mines, ensuring the inmates are working. When Luffy and Hyogoro begin their rebellion in the Sumo Inferno ring, Hyoutauros is one of the Gifters sent to stop them. He attempts to use his speed to overwhelm the prisoners, charging into the ring with confidence.

However, he is quickly used as a practice dummy for Luffy's advanced Haki training. Luffy effortlessly dodges his attacks and strikes him down to demonstrate Ryou to Hyogoro. Hyoutauros is knocked unconscious and later tamed by O-Tama's Kibi Dango ability, forcing him to switch sides and fight against the Beasts Pirates during the raid on Onigashima.
