Iyan'eno Chinode is a reporter and staff member of the World Economy News Paper (WEP), working directly under "Big News" Morgans. He is a very minor character who made his debut in the final saga, specifically during the Egghead arc.

In Chapter 1074, Chinode appears aboard the World Economy News Paper's airship headquarters. He is present during a crucial moment of information manipulation, receiving direct orders from Morgans on how to frame the "Egghead Incident." Despite the World Government wanting to cover up the assassination attempt on Dr. Vegapunk, Morgans instructs Chinode and the other staff to print a sensationalized headline claiming that "Straw Hat Luffy" has taken Vegapunk hostage and barricaded himself on the island to wage war against the Navy.

Currently, he remains aboard the airship, which is safely floating in the skies to avoid the World Government's reach. He is effectively traveling alongside his boss, as well as the fugitive guests currently hiding on the ship: Nefertari D. Vivi and Wapol.
