Charlotte Lola is a lively and fearless pirate, captain of the Rolling Pirates, and one of the standout characters of the Thriller Bark Arc.

Born as the 23rd daughter of Charlotte Linlin—the fearsome pirate emperor known as Big Mom—and her 25th husband Pound, Lola has a rare full-blooded twin sister, Charlotte Chiffon. Despite her powerful heritage, she charted her own course, eventually ending up in the Florian Triangle, where fate led her to Gecko Moria’s domain.

Appearance and Personality

Lola is tall and broad-shouldered, with braided pink hair, a round face, and bright red lips. Her personality is loud, energetic, and confident, and she’s well-known for her comical habit of proposing marriage to nearly every man she meets. Beneath the humor, she is courageous, loyal, and quick to stand up for her friends.

Zombie Lola and the Victim’s Association

When first introduced, Lola’s shadow had been stolen by Gecko Moria and implanted into the body of a boar-headed female warrior, making her a zombie under Moria’s control. Even in this state, her spirited personality shone through.

Lola became the leader of the Victim’s Association, a group of pirates and adventurers whose shadows had also been taken. She rallied these victims, encouraging them to fight back against Moria and his minions.

Alliance with the Straw Hats

Lola eventually joined forces with the Straw Hat Pirates to help them reclaim their shadows before sunrise. Her most significant interaction was with Nami, to whom she gifted a fragment of her mother’s vivre card, telling her it could help in the dangerous New World. At the time, she didn’t reveal that her mother was Big Mom herself.

By the end of the Thriller Bark events, Lola and her crew regained their shadows and set off once more on their journey, grateful to the Straw Hats for their help.
