Melzalgald is a general of the Dark Matter Thieves, the alien pirate fleet led by Boros, and a secondary antagonist of the Alien Conquerors arc. Its body is made up of five separate, shape-shifting heads, each capable of splitting off to act independently — and each containing a marble-sized regenerative core that has to be destroyed individually, since the head housing an intact core simply won't stay dead.
After the Dark Matter Thieves level A-City from orbit, Melzalgald engages the A-Class hero Iaian directly and tears off his arm before Atomic Samurai, Bang, Metal Bat, and Puri-Puri Prisoner arrive to help. The fight drags on until Metal Bat works out that the marbles are the real weak point, letting the assembled heroes finally bring it down. Its five heads each carry a distinct personality and way of speaking — one simple and broken, one endlessly praising whatever the others suggest, one coolly analytical, one openly violent, and one that weighs the others' input to make the final call — with the survivors growing noticeably sharper in speech as their numbers dwindle.
A massive, greyish-tan humanoid made of malleable, clay-like flesh capable of shapeshifting. Has five distinct heads, each independently thinking and speaking, hiding five marble-like cores deep inside that act as each head’s brain and life source. Frequently morphs his limbs into blades, hammers, or wings mid-battle.
Described as a “bellicose life-form” — naturally war-inclined, yet cautious enough not to underestimate opponents once his standard strikes stopped working. Arrogant toward “lower organisms” but fully obedient to Lord Boros.
One of the top three warriors among the Dark Matter Thieves, alongside Groribas and Geryuganshoop, having traveled the universe conquering planets with Boros for decades.
Descends after City A’s destruction and instantly slaughters Sky King and the Sky Folk, then severs Iaian’s left arm. Atomic Samurai, Bang, Puri-Puri Prisoner, and Metal Bat arrive and fight him together for several chapters, unable to stop his regeneration — until Metal Bat accidentally crushes one of his cores, killing that head. Realizing the weakness, the heroes hunt down and destroy the remaining cores one by one; Atomic Samurai lands the final blow, destroying the last core and killing him.
Regeneration: can rebuild his entire body from dust or liquid as long as his cores survive. Shapeshifting: reforms his flesh into wings, blades, or blunt weapons at will. Body Fission: can split into five autonomous entities, one per core, for multi-angle attacks. Strong and fast enough to sever a Class A Rank 2 hero’s arm in one swing. His sole weakness: destroy a core, permanently kill that head.

A drawn-out fight where the heroes finally worked out Melzargard's core-based regeneration. All five cores had to be found and destroyed before it went down — the first time the series needed multiple S-Class heroes coordinating together to kill one Dragon-level threat.
