Viola, known undercover as Violet, is the second princess of Dressrosa’s Riku Dynasty and a former assassin and officer in Trebol’s Army division of the Donquixote Pirates. She is the younger sister of the late Princess Scarlett and the aunt of Rebecca. After the coup ten years ago, she gave up her freedom to join Don Quixote Doflamingo’s crew on the condition that her father, King Riku Doldo III, be spared, and during the Dressrosa Arc she worked as a double agent, eventually turning on the Donquixote Family to help the Straw Hat Pirates and the Ninja-Pirate-Mink-Samurai Alliance free her homeland.
Viola is tall and slender, with long wavy dark hair and the classic look of Dressrosa’s culture.
Clothing
At her introduction she wore a flamenco-style dress with ruffles and dark polka dots that doubled as her dancer’s disguise and assassin’s attire; after the battle and her return to royal status, she moved to more regal gowns. She often wears a red rose tucked into her hair.
Ten Years Ago
Flashbacks show a nineteen-year-old Viola with shorter hair and simpler clothes.
Viola is fiercely loyal to her family, shaped by a decade of forced service to the man who destroyed her life. She came across as cold and manipulative at first, but Sanji found her "woman’s tears" were genuine. She has real courage, willing to face Doflamingo directly when hope seemed lost, and despite her past she can still trust people, shown by how quickly she allied with Sanji once she sensed his sincerity.
Viola was born into the Riku Dynasty and raised as the second princess alongside her sister Scarlett. During Doflamingo’s coup ten years ago, King Riku was framed for a massacre, and Viola used her Devil Fruit power to prove her value to Doflamingo, striking a deal to work for him as the officer "Violet" in exchange for her father’s life. For the following decade she served in the Special Powers Team of Trebol’s Army, using her all-seeing eye to gather intelligence and eliminate political threats.

After Dressrosa
She accompanied King Riku and Rebecca to Marijoa for the Levely, where she befriended other princesses like Vivi and Shirahoshi.
Giro Giro no Mi (Glare-Glare Fruit)
As a "Glare-Glare Human," Viola has X-ray vision and can read minds. Her all-seeing eye lets her see through solid objects, over distances up to 4,000 km, and into other people’s memories and plans.
Hierro Lagrima
She can solidify her tears into massive hardened whales to crush opponents.
Observation Haki
As a former Warlord officer she has refined Observation Haki, though she leans more on her Devil Fruit for sensory work.
