Vice-Admiral Yamakaji (ヤマカジ中将, Yamakaji Chūjō) is one of the five Vice-admirals who lead the Buster Call on Enies Lobby.

He seems to smile at all times, even during a Buster Call. He is also a smoker of cigars, just as Onigumo smokes cigarettes. His eyes are always closed and has a big brown beard.
