Zeus is a Special Homie, once part of the trio of sentient weapons (alongside Prometheus and Napoleon) that carried Big Mom into battle and delivered her storms on command. Nami lured him away with "Black Balls," weather-based snacks he couldn't resist, and eventually captured him. When Big Mom later decided Zeus was worthless next to her new homie Hera and had him eaten, his soul escaped into Nami's Clima-Tact instead of dying - and he's stayed there ever since, fighting at her side as her personal thundercloud.
Everyday Form
Day to day, Zeus is a small, fluffy white cumulus cloud with a permanent smile and a little blue baseball cap.
Thundercloud Form
When he's angry or discharging lightning, he swells into a massive, dark thundercloud crackling with electricity and a far more menacing face.
Clima-Tact Fusion
Fused to the Sorcery Clima-Tact, he can shrink down to a cloud face on the tip of the baton or stretch his body to extend its reach, and in Nami's bigger attacks he can take the shape of a lightning-charged shark or dragon.
Zeus is ruled by his appetite, which explains most of his major life decisions. He spent years too afraid of Big Mom's temper to disobey her, despite an underlying cowardly streak, but after everything that happened with the Straw Hats - and after Big Mom threw him away - he developed real remorse and a fierce drive to make it up to Nami by protecting her completely. He's playful and a little childish, and lights up whenever he gets a "tasty" weather egg.
Big Mom created Zeus by infusing a fragment of her own life span into a cloud, making him one of her "trinity" of personal homies alongside Prometheus and Napoleon. For decades he traveled with her, carrying out the destructive "rage fits" she used to punish nations that fell behind on tribute.
Totto Land Arc
Zeus first appears carrying Big Mom during her pursuit of the Straw Hats in Totto Land, before Nami's "Black Balls" lure him away and he ends up striking Big Mom with a lightning bolt of his own. Brook captures him not long after, and he's kept aboard the Thousand Sunny until Big Mom retakes him by force at Onigashima.
The Soul Escape at Onigashima
There, she decides her new homie Hera is a better weapon and orders Hera to eat him - but as Hera bites down, Zeus's soul slips free into Nami's Clima-Tact, which Nami had extended toward him as a "gift" of snacks moments earlier. From then on he fights from inside the baton, helping Nami land the lightning strike that finishes off Ulti during the raid on Onigashima.
Elbaph
Later he travels with Nami to Elbaph, where he helps put out fires started by Loki.
Electrical Discharge
Can unleash lightning strong enough to knock out hundreds of enemies or hurt an Emperor-level fighter.
Flight
Can carry passengers, though usually only those with a soul-connection to his master.
Sentient Weaponry
While fused to the Clima-Tact, he can reshape the weapon, extend its range, and track a target automatically until it's hit.
Intangibility
As a cloud, ordinary attacks pass right through him - though soul-based attacks like Brook's, or Big Mom's ability-nullifying powers, can still reach him.
