Devil Dias was a pirate, former captain of the Acumate Pirates, but was captured and sold as a slave to the family of World Noble, Saint Roswald. He has a bounty of 60,000,000. He has, according to his own words, a wife and child.

When on Sabaody Archipelago he runs off and tries to break his chains, setting the collar he has around his neck to explode. He is then urinated on by Roswald’s family dog and is shot by Saint Shalulia and the Marines carried him off.
