Jet Nice Guy

ジェットナイスガイ

Supporting One Punch Man

Jet Nice Guy is a B-Class hero whose career took an unusual turn after he won the lottery: rather than the ordinary, underwhelming hero he'd been until then, he poured his winnings into cyborg body upgrades and remade himself into a flashier, far more capable fighter.

Post-upgrade, he fights with enhanced strength and speed, specializing in fast kicks and punches strong enough to take down low disaster-level monsters — during the Monster Association raid, following further upgrades, he was able to kill some monsters outright with a single punch. He has also appeared as a playable character in the spin-off games One-Punch Man: The Strongest, Road to Hero, and Road to Hero 2.0.

Originally a mostly human hero in a tactical visor and padded suit. After his upgrades, his body is almost entirely mechanical — segmented metal plating across the neck, jaw, and chest, bulky reinforced shoulders and forearms housing jet thrusters, and dark wrap-around goggles protecting his optical sensors.

Genuinely heroic even before his upgrade — he didn’t hesitate to engage a Demon-level threat to buy civilians time. Focused and efficient in combat, and determined enough to trade his human body for a mechanical one rather than risk being helpless again.

Began his hero career in Class C, reaching Rank 25 before a near-fatal encounter with the Deep Sea King during the Seafolk invasion pushed him toward full cybernetic reconstruction.

Fights alongside Snek, Allback-man, and Bunbunman at the City J shelter against the Deep Sea King, and is punched through a wall almost instantly. While recovering, he opts for total cybernetic reconstruction, emerging with jet-propulsion limbs and earning a promotion to Class B. Reappears as “Jet Niceguy (Updated)” during the Monster Association raid’s surface support team, dismantling several monsters with his new propulsion-boosted strikes.

Cybernetically enhanced strength and durability, elbow/shoulder/back-mounted jet thrusters for high-speed flight and sudden bursts, and his signature Ultimate Jet Straight — a propulsion-boosted punch strong enough to shatter mid-tier monster skulls.

vs. Deep Sea King — Ch. 25–26

Helped defend a shelter and was one-shotted and hospitalized for it — the loss that pushed him toward a total physical transformation into a cyborg.

vs. Surface Monster Swarm — Ch. 97

Engaged monsters fleeing the collapsing Monster Association base and won, proving his upgraded body was the real deal.

Major: Ch. 26, 97. Minor: Ch. 25, 28, 187, 188. Mentioned only: Ch. 38.

Deep Sea King: the monster responsible for both his original defeat and his cyborg “rebirth.” Snek: a fellow hero present for his first defeat and a repeat ally on emergency dispatches.

“Ultimate Jet Straight!”

One of the few heroes to jump an entire class (C to B) purely through physical modification rather than gradual ranking progress. His “Updated” title is a deliberate nod to software/hardware patch naming.
