Physical Build

Ichiji is a tall, muscular man standing 6'1" (186 cm), with slicked-back red hair featuring three large forward-pointing spikes. Like his siblings, he has curly, spiral "6"-shaped eyebrows, the mirror opposite of Sanji's, and a stoic, often condescending expression.

He wears a dark red hooded cloak marked with a large "1" and the Germa 66 insignia, along with dark sunglasses and a metallic neck brace.

Ichiji is totally emotionally detached, arrogant, and ruthlessly efficient — the result of bloodline element manipulation that worked as intended on him, leaving him unable to feel empathy, sorrow, or fear. He treats anyone he considers "inferior," including Sanji, with cold contempt, and holds a strict elitist view that royalty is above menial labor or service. He treats his cloned soldiers as expendable tools for the family's glory, and even facing his own execution during the wedding betrayal, he stayed unnervingly calm, calling his father's tears "pathetic."

Ichiji was born in the North Blue as the first son of Vinsmoke Judge and Vinsmoke Sora. Before birth he was modified to become an "ultimate soldier," and unlike Sanji, his mother's attempt to preserve her children's hearts had no effect on him, leaving him unfeeling. As a child he led his brothers Niji and Yonji in bullying Sanji, and he later spent years helping lead Germa 66 through various wars, notably ending a two-year war on Brock Collie Island shortly before Whole Cake Island.

Return from War

Ichiji and Niji returned to the mobile Germa Kingdom after crushing the resistance on Brock Collie Island; he greeted Sanji with cold indifference.

The Dinner

During a family meal, Ichiji backed Niji's assault on head chef Cosette, reminding Sanji that royalty doesn't live by the rules of the weak.

The Wedding Plot

At the tea party in Whole Cake Chateau, Ichiji stayed stoic even as Charlotte Perospero restrained the family with candy, mocking his father's tears as the massacre plot was revealed.

The Counterattack

Freed by the Straw Hats, Ichiji donned his Raid Suit and used his "Sparking Red" powers to cover the alliance's retreat from the roof.

The Escort

Ichiji led the Germa fleet to Cacao Island to help Sanji and Luffy escape, personally engaging Charlotte Oven with speed and light-based strikes to clear their path.

Germa 66's Ahh... An Emotionless Excursion

In this cover story, Ichiji and Reiju infiltrated Chocolate Town on Cacao Island, fighting through Big Mom's enforcers to rescue Niji and Yonji from their laboratory imprisonment and lead the remnants of Germa to safety.
