Boros, addressed as Lord Boros by his crew, leads the Dark Matter Thieves, the alien pirate fleet responsible for destroying A-City. A slim, single-eyed alien with light spiky hair, pointed ears lined with earrings, and crack-like energy markings across his body, his true power is sealed beneath armor that Saitama shatters early in their fight — after which his build grows more muscular, his skin darkens, and his markings begin visibly emitting energy. In his last-resort Meteoric Burst form, he pushes his body past its own limits at severe physical cost, capable of firing the Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon, an energy beam powerful enough to level a planet.
Like Saitama, Boros suffers from a strength that outgrew every opponent he ever faced, leaving him unable to find real satisfaction in battle. His search for a worthy fight carried him across the universe on the word of a prophet who promised he'd finally find a true opponent on a distant planet — a promise that leads him to Earth, and to Saitama, where his search for a real fight is finally, fatally answered.
A tall, muscular, cyclopean alien with a single large eye centered in his face, light-colored spiky hair, and a vertical crack-like marking down the left side of his face. His skin carries glowing blue vein-like patterns, and a secondary “eye” or core sits in the center of his chest as an energy source.
Suppressed, he wears heavy ornate gold armor with high-collared pauldrons and a floor-length white cape. Once that armor breaks, he fights shirtless in baggy dark trousers, his skin darkening and his patterns glowing brighter as his output rises. In his final “Meteoric Burst” state his whole body turns white and blinding, his hair lengthens, and his features sharpen into something more jagged and aggressive.
Battle-Hungry and Lonely
Boros raided planets for decades not for resources but in search of a truly “stimulating” fight, isolated by the belief that no one could understand the burden of being unbeatable.
Honorable, in His Own Way
Despite his ruthlessness he keeps a warrior’s code, openly praising Saitama as a “worthy opponent” and acknowledging his own inferiority in his final moments.
Arrogant, Then Desperate
He starts the fight mocking Earth’s “native inhabitants,” assuming Saitama’s limits mirror his own; as the fight drags on with Saitama unhurt, his composure cracks into a frenzied, ultimately suicidal last attack.
Boros belonged to a species that evolved on a harsh planet, granting them the greatest natural healing and energy potential known in the universe. Through natural selection he rose to lead both his species and the Dark Matter Thieves. Twenty years before arriving on Earth, a seer told him of a being capable of fighting him as an equal on a distant world; his subordinates suspected a trap, but Boros spent two decades searching anyway.
Arrival at City A
Boros’s spacecraft levels City A on arrival while he watches from his throne, letting his top three warriors — Melzargard, Groribas, and Geryuganshoop — engage the S-Class heroes below.
Meeting Saitama
After Saitama fights his way through the ship and kills Groribas and Geryuganshoop, he reaches the throne room. Boros tries a friendly greeting; Saitama punches him straight through his own throne, shattering his suppression armor.
The Duel
Released, Boros unleashes energy blasts and physical strikes that would kill any other hero, all while Saitama remains completely unharmed. Realizing his released form isn’t enough, Boros triggers Meteoric Burst and kicks Saitama all the way to the Moon.
Final Stand
Saitama returns from the Moon and shatters Boros’s body with Consecutive Normal Punches; Boros regenerates instantly and readies his ultimate attack, the Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon, aimed at wiping out the planet’s surface. Saitama splits the beam with a Serious Punch, delivering the fatal blow. Dying, Boros admits the fight was never really a fight — Saitama was still holding back — and accepts that the old prophecy was true.
Superhuman Physicality & Energy Projection
Even armored, his speed and strength dwarf S-Class heroes; released, he can move fast enough to melt his own ship’s metal through friction, and fire beams strong enough to vaporize large sections of that same spacecraft.
Explosive Healing
His species’ natural regeneration lets him instantly reform lost limbs or even his entire torso by concentrating energy into the wound.
Meteoric Burst
A trump-card transformation that uses his own energy as a propulsion engine to exceed biological speed limits, at real cost to his lifespan.
Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon (崩星咆哮砲)
His ultimate technique: expelling all remaining energy into one planet-surface-destroying beam.
Weakness: his energy reserves are finite — his strongest forms and regeneration both drain his remaining lifespan.

Unloaded everything he had, including the Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon. Saitama split the beam with a Serious Punch and killed him — the only fight in the series where Saitama acknowledged an opponent as genuinely strong enough to use a serious technique.

Thematically, he functions as a dark mirror of Saitama himself — a being so powerful that life became a monotonous vacuum, searching for meaning through struggle.
